Food & Drink
Morton Stokes' keen interest within the food industry stems from one of its Directors prior employment as a Research and Development engineer with George Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts. Our services have covered most areas of this sector from, bulk storage, materials weighing and handling, product preparation, conditioning, packaging, over wrapping and palletising. Health, Safety and a disciplined awareness to the importance of hygiene are second nature to our multi skilled engineers.
Other activities within this area have included installations on behalf of clients who design, manufacture and supply dry goods materials handling systems to breweries and beverage companies up and down the country and overseas. These have included major projects on hammer milling, extensive upgrades of existing plant and equipment and relocation of bottling lines to name but a few.
Our services include supplying labour, equipment and materials to complete turnkey projects, install new or re-locate existing plant and machinery, refurbish/modify existing machinery, planned shutdowns, design and install pipe work systems and fabrications (all materials).
We are familiar with working nights and weekends in order to relocate production lines and to have them up and running within set times, someone within Morton Stokes can be contacted at any time of the day or night for emergency breakdowns. Our experience within this industry guarantees the right selection of personnel to cover short falls in our clients staffing levels which may include sickness, extra shifts, holidays or sheer volume of work at busy periods. |
